Yeah, it’s been a couple of weeks. Sorry ’bout that, folks. Christmas kinda happened. 😉
We headed away down south to my parent’s place for week, where there was lots of hanging out with family and not so much internet time. But never fear, there was still a bit of crafting being done.
There was a bit of pattern tracing….
A couple of bird Christmas decorations got made….
And I got brave, bit the bullet, and started my very first knitting-something-more-complicated-than-a-peggy-square knitting project!
But now, after a lovely time with family, we’re back home again.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
Merry Christmas! You’ve got some awesome projects ready to go– can’t wait to see them!
Thanks lady! 🙂 Hope you had a super Christmas and New Years?
Yes, definitely! 🙂
What are you knitting? Inquiring minds want to know.
Yes, I second that!! 😀
Heh 😉 I’m knitting the Miette – seen so many super cute versions around the blogosphere it tempted me to actually do my first ever proper knitting project!!! ( <- am slightly scared to admit what I'm making, in case it turns out terribly and never sees the light of day, haha eek!) http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/miette
I just finished mine! It’s a bit terrifying at first, for a first cardigan, but once you get into it it all makes sense 🙂 Hit me up if you need any moral support 😀
Wow, that is a super cute cardi. You are ambitious to take it on as a first project, but I know you will do it. Honestly, I feel like the difference between and easy and an expert pattern is just patience and time- two things that I lack which is why I have yet to tackle a complicated, grow up sized garment.
